'Be Still My Soul' Album Release
“Be Still My Soul,” a CD album of solo piano music by Oklahoma City Christian pianist, Bradley Davidson, has been released. The album, a meditative collection of familiar songs of faith, is set against the background sounds of a gentle rain storm.
Bradley Davidson explained, “For years, my faith journey has been a contemplative one; a journey of trying to listen for God's promptings in my life. On this journey, I have realized how difficult it can sometimes be to simply be still and be with God. No talking, no asking, just being there with God is sometimes tough. When I finally decided to record a collection of piano music, I knew the recording had to be one that creates a place for God and the listener to meet. No big orchestral arrangements, no drums or guitars. Just quiet, contemplative, and familiar hymns that speak of the amazing love and care and PRESENCE of God. On this album, the simple piano music is played with a gentle rainstorm in the background. It's almost like God is playing the second part of the duet, wooing you to come and be with Him for a moment.”
